After Hillary Clinton went a bit wobbly at the 9/11 memorial, the internet went off the deep end with speculation about her health, and whether she’s even the real Hillary Clinton.
It was the swoon felt around the world. After continuing to campaign despite being diagnosed with pneumonia, Hillary Clinton had to admit she was human and needed a rest. It came to a head after Clinton was noticeably wobbly at the 9/11 memorial in New York, and had to be helped in to a vehicle in order to leave the event early.
Even though she appeared rested and recovered when she emerged from her daughter’s apartment building hours later, the damage was done. In fact, the candidate was in such good spirits she didn’t even stop to give “pharma bro” Martin Shkreli a well deserved smack for taunting her by yelling, “Are you alive? Do you need Pharma Bro’s help?”
Republican opponent Donald Trump expressed mock concern, and suggested “there’s something going on” with Clinton’s health that the campaign isn’t telling voters. Even a disclosure from Clinton’s doctor that she had pneumonia didn’t stop the speculation from running campaign own special #HillarysHealth hashtag.

Non-contagious bacterial pneumonia is not even a real diagnosis. This is getting ridiculous. #HillarysHealth #MAGA pic.twitter.com/Q44caIwaaq

But the biggest, most absurd speculation is the one that we all should have seen coming. Apparently, Trump fans are claiming it wasn’t Clinton we saw emerge from that New York Apartment building. It was Clinton’s body double. Clinton’s health is apparently so bad that the campaign hired well-known Clinton impersonator Teresa Bardwell to stand in for the candidate. (Never mind that Barnwell was actually on the West Coast at the time.) Some even think Clinton died, and has been completely replaced with a double.

Born In The USA
Donald Trump is running for president. Donald Trump also has a new hotel opening up in Washington, DC. So Donald Trump found a way to use his status as a candidate to shill for his hotel. In what CNN’s Jake Tapper called “a political Rick roll,” Trump scheduled a campaign event live form his new hotel on Friday morning, to announce something that everybody else but far-right wingnuts already new. Trump announced that he now believes President Obama was born in the US.

The internet was not fooled, nor amused.
No @donlemon ❌What is vile & insulting is how @CNN ignores all Hillary's lies &crimes. We are on to you👎🏼#Birtherism pic.twitter.com/UsPYEcw3Kn

#Trump steps up to the mic and brazenly lies about his Obama “birther” role https://t.co/pakwcIr3cl#Birtherism

Nothing Trump can say will ever erase the fact that for 5 years he tried to delegitimize America's 1st black President w/RACIST #BIRTHERISM.

Just in case anyone forgot Trump’s five years as the world’s most famous birther, Media Matters prepared this handy reminder.

Pastor Disaster
Donald Trump thought he was walking into another easy peasy “African-American outreach” photo-op when he walked into Bethel United Methodist Church in Flint, Michigan. But during a speech about the economy and Flint’s water crisis, Trump went off script that started bashing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Rev. Faith Green Timmons simply wasn’t having it. Rev. Timmons cut Trump off and reminded Trump whose house he was in. Trump, wisely, backed right down.

That is, until he had time to flee to the safely of Fox News. Once on friendlier turn, Trump went after Rev. Timmons.

MSNBC correspondent Joy Ried broke down Trump’s bluster on Fox News. “He is only aggressive when he is not in the presence of the person he is bullying, Ried said. ”When he gets in front of the person that he previously insulted, he becomes incredibly passive."

In truth, Trump just learned what generations of African-American children have had to learn: Act out in church, and you will be pulled up short.
Like Father, Like….
Donald Trump’s progeny showed how much they take after their father this week. Ivanka Trump lost her legendary composure during an interview with Cosmopolitan after a reporter refused to let up on a line of questioning criticizing Trump’s family leave plan, which leaves fathers out. Ms. Trump cut the interview short when the reporter did her job, and pursued that line of questioning.

Fresh from cracking holocaust jokes about what he sees as a media double standard for his dad, Donald Trump Jr. abruptly ended an interview with local Pittsburgh Action News 4 News, when asked about the shady dealings of his dad’s foundation — of which Trump Jr. is listed as the official director.

They must have inherited their father’s thin skin.
Talking About A Revolution?
Republican Kentucky governor Matt Bevin said in a speech at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC, that conservatives might have to resort to violence if they lose the election and Hillary Clinton becomes president. “I want us to be able to fight ideologically, mentally, spiritually, economically, so that we don’t have to do it physically,” Bevin said. “But that may, in fact, be the case.”
