If Donald Trump wasn’t the Republican nominee, what would it take for his words and actions to be labeled treason? In fact, why does no one dare call it treason?
It was bad enough when Trump invited Russia to engage in cyber-espionage against the United States, just to help him win the presidential election. However, he outdid himself at the Commander-in-Chief Forum on NBC, when he lavished praise upon Russian president Vladimir Putin, saying “He’s been a leader far more than our president has been a leader.”

But Trump managed to top even that when he went on Russian-sponsored television to complain about the US media. In an interview with Larry King on RT America, Trump railed about the “dishonesty of the media,” and its impact on the political process.

The Trump campaign later claimed that it was “duped” by Larry King, and thought that the interview was going to be on King’s podcast. Imagine how the right would react if Hillary Clinton tried to pull something like this.
Body Talk?
As if to prove how unfit he is for the office, Trump blabbed about the classified security briefings he gets now, to the horror of many in the intelligence community. That alone is something no candidate has ever done. Taking things a step further, Trump said that he learned that President Obma “did not follow … what our experts said to do.” And how did he know this? Trump said he could tell from their “body language,” that the intelligence community wasn’t happy with president Obama.

Trump Payola
Trump loves to talk about “Crooked Hillary Clinton,” but this week there’s been more talk about “Corrupt Donald Trump.” This week news broke that when Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi called trump for a campaign donation, Trump did more than write a check. At least, he did after he learned that Florida was toying with the idea of joining the lawsuit against Trump University. Instead of opening his checkbook, Trump opened the doors of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, for a $3,000-a-head fundraiser for Bondi — who had recently decided not to join the Trump U lawsuit.

All told, Bondi got about $25,000 from Trump. Again, what if Hillary Clinton tried to get away with something like this?

Gohmert Goes Mental
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) called Hillary Clinton “mentally impaired,” during a speech at the Values Voter Summit. “Hillary Clinton has made clear that she is mentally impaired,” Gohmert told the audience.

Coming from someone with Gohmert’s track record, that’s beyond ironic.
