I participated in an MSNBC panel discussion with Cenk Uygur, Sam Seder, and conservative Matt Lewis. We discussed Cain, Mitch McConnell's insistence on Medicare cuts as part of a budget deal, and Eric Cantor's insistence on no disaster relief funds for Missouri unless they're taken out of the budget somewhere else.
My overall point was then all of the GOP's policies make sense if you assume that their overriding goal is to protect tax cuts for the wealthy at all costs. Video of the discussion is here.
I found a clip of yesterday's MSNBC appearance purely by accident. It had been posted by one of those automated advertising websites that scour the Internet for clips related to their product line, which in this case was - I kid you not - "Senior Dog Health Problems."

Yesterday I co-hosted The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur. Our first interview was with Howard Dean, in a wide-ranging conversation that covered his continued enthusiasm for Barack Obama (but not some of his advisors), Democratic malaise, and the race-baiting he has observed at Fox News.
