Campaign for America's Future, in conjunction with the new campaign Health Care for America Now, captures the health insurance industry failing to deliver on its promise to listen to citizens’ ideas about how to create “affordable, high quality health care for every American.” As part of the insurance industry’s new “listening tour” that launched last week, the insurance company front group Coalition for An American Health Care Solution has launched a hotline for individuals to share ideas about how to improve and expand the health care system. Yet, the hotline phone calls go straight to an answering machine, consistent with the industry’s woeful customer service record.
