Nationalize ANWAR

British P., Dutch Shell, Exxon, the Kuwaitis? Who? What? Why should I (Mr. American Joe Citizen) give anyone of these foreigners the right to take My Oil.

Demand already so far exceeds what ANWAR can produce that putting ANWAR into production is more likely to drive the price per barrel up on the NYCE rather than down. -- as a renewed sense of market stability would allow manufacturers to bring new projects out of the wings and further increase demand.

ANWAR is a drop in the barrel of global demand.

Then, --and here is a novel idea-- let us decide what to do with our money. No taxes, no fees, no nothin, just cash direct to our bank accounts. Period. Done Deal. Drill away.

And if we decide to buy a tree and hug its butt or make a charitable contribution to British Petroleum then that's our own business.
