Here's an interview with CAF's very own Roger Hickey on the importance of this election, the factors shaping it, and what we've seen (and haven't seen) that have brought us to this point. Hickey also talks about what to look for in the returns.

Most of all, Roger makes the case for the importance of voting - even for progressives who may (understandably) be disaffected with the campaign – "simply to keep the bad guys from increasing their power over us and making the political situation worse."

"We have a lot of work to do in the Democratic Party to get the Democrats standing for something large and transforming the country into the country we know it could be," Hickey says, "and that's the job for after this election."
